Default Experimental pinhole video.

New video I shot... Vonage voicemails in different languages, a wild girl filmed without a lens, thru a pinhole. Hope you like it:

a pinhole? Like you just had the camera cover piece cap on and drilled a hole in it to hit the sensor?

Weird. Wild, stuff.

You take the lens off. Tape on a sheet of aluminum foil. And pierce a microscopic pinhole thru it.
The smaller the hole, the sharper the image.

Tnx Ethan. Make sure your pinhole is tiny tiny tiny... You shouldn't even be able to see it.

Heh.

I've seen these before but assumed that they were too slow for video.

I guess with these new HDSLRs that things have changed...

It's interesting how close the look resembles my first attempt at a DOF adapter.

This absolutely looks like 8mm film. What settings did you adjust? Have you tried this in low light?

Uh low light? I'm surprised how much light you get with a pinhole in broad day light! we're talking about f 168 here...

What do you use to create such a small hole? Sounds like you need something smaller than a pin.
