Default Any word on the new switronix DSLR shoulder supports?

Just saw switronix came out with new DSLR shoulder supports for the 5D/7D. Anyone with feedback or experience with these please let me know.

I've seen some of their other brackets and it really depends where you position the camera. The handle below the camera untwists, loosening the camera base plate and you can slide it down the arm(it's slotted), and then lock it where you want. You can sort of see it when you go to the dslr page on switronix's site. It's pretty cool I think. I talked to a dealer in NY and there getting a bunch in so I'm going to take a look.

Not much else out there right now for dslr shoulder mount.

not that much out there for under $300 for sure... cavision has something but seems high to me

FYI, Amazon has the switronix dslr bracket for $265 with free shipping. I ordered one to give it a try.

Hey Jrod81,

Here's some shots of the switronix dslr-pro bracket. I use it with cb digital s bracket.

I was away so didn't get to it until now. I like it a lot and it only cost me 265! Really steadies the video on the 7d.

I was trying to put it on my shoulder and take a photo, but in front of a mirror, just didn't work.

thanks so much for taking the time to take pics! is there any way of adding follow focus to this setup? it doesn't look like it since it is not a standard rod?
