That's a nice setup!
Where did you find that energizer battery? That powers both the mayflash and the lcd right? If I remember correctly both need to power separately? How long does it power them for and how much did it cost? Sorry for all the questions but I'm gonna be picking them up soon and need the easiest power source I can find. |

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....ci_sku=8470861 I have a simple 3 way plug that lets me run both adapters into it. I get about 2-2.5 hrs run time on a full charge. I have a new video up where I go over how I built my rig and the equipment I use. Here are links: Vimeo HD version: http://www.vimeo.com/919639 YouTube SD version: Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAEKUo71lFQ Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PVteFpbmu8 Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqZGWNug28s |

Because the camera puts out a great image. Because they're all pieces he can use on any camera gets next. Because a cheaper camera allows him to have more flexibility and accessories at the same price (or less) than it would have cost him to just get a more expensive camera.

your rig makes me want an hv20 or 30 even more... I just spent the whole day walking about 4 miles with my Fx1 and redrock on rocky trails... I would have killed for an HV20!

I use an HV20 and I enjoy it but seriously... |
