I was looking as some Redrock support gear this weekend on their site... came back Monday and noticed a 20-35% increase on almost all their products... NAB related??
Anyways - B&H stocks some of Redrock's gear and at right now it's at Sunday's prices. In fact, I just finished my order. Just a heads up if anyone cared. 'Night |

There should be plenty of this stuff used in the marketplace, on ebay or on other forums.
I personally don't recommend buying any of their gear new after I got burned last January (09) buying a DSLR "bundle" which had the obsolete V1 follow focus, and the V2 follow focus came out around the same time. Not to mention that I asked for BLACK trim screws as an option on their website (I wouldn't complain if I didn't have the option) AND they never rectified it after I sent several emails. Their mattebox is a nice product for the money, but I don't think I'd buy anything else from them ever again if I was in the market. |

that is outrages.
why the hell should I pay more for something that has been on the market for 2 years(shoulder-mount). this is clearly called "milking customer" i used to love "Redrock" ![]() yes, Dan is right. getting off of the ebay/2nd-hand would be wise choice. |

Usually companies do a 20-30% DISCOUNT during tradeshows, at least for those who attended....heh maybe they raised the prices so after your NAB discount the price is the same?

Yeah, I checked it out and the price increase was pretty significant.

have they ever thought that nobody would realize that?
what a sneaky way! yeah most companies offer discount for old-items in their catalog. this jacked-up price policy is something new.. |

i went on a rant about how bad redrock customer service is a few months ago. agreed about having to make up some extra cash before the new cameras drop, the 35mm adapter is soon to become unnecessary.

Well I know I will no longer be recommending RedRock Micro until this is resolved. Either build it yourself or if that's not good enough buy from Zactuo...their stuff is expensive but it is incredibly high quality.

for what it's worth, I've had to contact RR customer service 2 times these last 2 years (last time was 5 months ago) and they've always been prompt to answer and deliver the goods. Maybe I've been lucky, but I've been quite satisfied with customer service.
